In a nutshell, the Boréal Pinion is:
All-terrain touring bike. Robust Reynolds 525 frame and Cr-Mo fork.
All frames are painted to order in the color chosen by the customer
Pinion internal transmission and Gates Carbon belt.
Long wheelbase. 470-485mm chainstay, 68deg head tube angle and 62mm fork offset
Low standover.
Comfortable position designed around flat touring handlebars. Stock handlebar is Velo Orange Crazy bars.
Wheel/tire options available at the same price: 700x50 (29x2.0 )Schwalbe Marathon Mondial (on/off-road touring) or 27.5x2.6 Maxxis Rekon (touring expedition). Both tires have similar outside diameters, so the bottom bracket height is adjusted accordingly.
The frame has ample mud clearance, and could accommodate 29x2.8 tires (Boost spacing).
Numerous mounting options for luggage racks, panniers, dynamo lights, fenders,...
